Autonomous Parking

Modeled after industry implementations of autonomous parking modes in semi-autonomous cars, this system parks a vehicle in an identified empty space.

Multiple Modes

Choose between autonomous parallel parking, autonomous perpendicular parking, or assisted manual parking.

Parking Guidelines

In manual parking mode, we provide camera image with parking guidelines modeled after the rear view cameras in modern cars. These guidelines display your projected path based on your current angular velocity.

Parking Assist

In this project, we have created a full parking assist system for the Neato. This system allows the user to choose from a number of different parking modes: autonomous parallel parking, autonomous perpendicular parking, or a manual parking mode with visual parking guidelines. This suite of features is modeled after the parking assist features found in modern cars. Our implementation is inspired by the state-of-the-art algorithms which underlie parallel parking mechanisms.
